These days more than ever before when you find something that is of use to you and you can find it for free, it is a cause for celebration. Such a thing might well be a free online fax service.
The free online fax service allows you to log onto a website and enter in things like you name, phone number and email address and that of the recipient along with the fax number that you are sending to. You then have the choice of typing in the text that you want to send or attaching a file from your computer. Either a word document or a PDF file and have it sent along as the meat of the fax.
The upside of the free online fax service is that it is free. The downside is that in order to keep it free there are some stipulations that you have to abide by. These are not terribly bad or extremely difficult but they are unwavering if you actually want it to be free.
For one thing, the company places an ad on your cover page. Just a little something that advertises the service so that others that see the fax might also decide to use it. This is important because the same company offers a paid version, which I will elaborate on in a moment. You are also limited to a certain number of faxes per day, this is usually only two and these faxes can be no longer than a set length, mostly 3 pages.
That same free online fax service will most likely offer you the option of paying a small fee, usually a couple dollars, which gives you a priority status for that fax and removes the advertisement and usually gives you up to 15 pages of fax content in which to say what needs to be said.
