I am sure that you all realize how important an answering machine is to your telephone and most people will agree they couldn’t get along without having one so that they can get those important calls when they are not home. So why would you need a Fax Answering Machine on top of that?

While the ability for these units has been there for a while it has just been a fairly recent occurrence that the companies that make the fax machines actually started offering the feature.

They have discovered that the Fax Answering Machine makes the unit a lot more interesting to the consumer and at a time where fax machines are becoming less of a necessity for businesses because they can do most of that stuff from the computer fax programs, more people are actually buying them and this feature is becoming a fairly high ranking request on the fax units being sold now days.

A good explanation for why the Fax Answering Machine is becoming more popular is that more people are working from home than ever before and as a result they need a stand-alone fax unit. The ability for that unit to be able to store faxes should paper issues arise means that the unit is more usable with this feature and the small added cost makes it a worthwhile investment for this market. We are also seeing more companies that receive orders and communications after office hours so this gives them a margin of safety in most situations.
